Power relation to Material, 2020

The value of materials has changed over time and the situation. Since the coronavirus spread, many cities and countries were locked down. The toilet paper, which has been the most routine commodity, has changed into a product that is not readily available. There is already a hierarchy on materials between people who can enjoy this situation and people who suffer from a lack of essential products. Social Media, which encourages people to produce eye-catching content, has an effect on the value of materials and making this situation as art performing moment. This project aims to capture the ironic moment and give space to think about how the values of the materials have affected by surroundings.
